Welcome to 2010 and the new Gen Ex Website
would like to take this opportunity to welcome all our existing and potential clients to our new website. 2009 proved to be an extremely successful year for Gen Ex Design, with projects being completed in Singapore, Egypt and the UK. In 2009 we were also awarded contracts to provide specialised packages to Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and the UK, and these are all due for completion by second and third quarter this year. To enable us to continue to provide a high level of service, and meet our commitments to provide quality power generation packages, we have opened an engineering office in Derby to accommodate our expanding Project Engineering Team. The team headed up by Mr Paul Johnson our Technical and Engineering Manager, welcomed three new staff last year: Mr Simon Morley who deals with ACAD and Project Documentation and provides engineering support. Mr Peter Abrams who also deals with ACAD and Project Documentation. And the latest addition to the team is Mr Les Pearson who will take on a Project Management role assisting Mr Paul Johnson. Mr Ron Attley continues as Operations Manager, also managing our Quality Management and Health and Safety Systems. Mr Jim Manson continues with his role in Business Development, with a key focus now on our Internationalisation Strategy. Mrs Lynne Sweeney now takes on the role of Company Secretary and Accounts Management, and in 2009 she successfully coordinated the transition from our existing accounts system to SAGE. December 2009 saw the retirement of Mrs Sue Attley from her Office Manager role. Sue had been with the company since shortly after its inception, and she contributed greatly during the early days when much multi tasking was required. We all wish Sue a long and happy retirement. Current projects that we are bidding, plus an overseas development programme will see further expansion for the company on both UK and overseas markets, as we continue to provide high quality project specific packages to meet our clients rigorous demands and standards. At our Nantwich Office
We hope that you enjoy this updated site, and we hope that 2010 will prove to be a prosperous year for you all.
